R.A. Whitfield Mfg. Co. was established in 1940 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA by Raleigh A. "R.A." Whitfield (pictured). In 1950 operations were moved a few miles west to Mableton, Georgia.
James "Jimmy" Whitfield took over in 1980 and is the son of the founder R.A. Whitfield. Jimmy very successfully owned and operated Whitfield Manufacturing until he retired in May of 2014.
Whitfield Mfg. is currently owned and ran by Mike Whitfield,
youngest grandson of R.A., as President, CEO, and Plant Manager.
R.A. Whitfield Manufacturing always has been, and always will be a family run business focused on producing quality forestry equipment.
